Allan Björk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Allan Björk made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Jack Gunnarsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Erland Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Björk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Årjäng's Allan Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Björk in the 23rd minute of play. Jan-Olof Hägglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Årjäng's zone, Erland Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Björk came out of the goal and Erland Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Björk in the 36th minute of play forced Årjäng's goalkeeper Allan Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Alf Uggstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Årjäng's Allan Björk did a great save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Mellberg to make the kick off. Allan Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Björling in the 51st minute of play. Erland Björk might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Björk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väskinde IF. Erland Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Emil Björling in the 70th minute of play forced Årjäng's goalkeeper Allan Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jack Gunnarsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erland Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Allan Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Åström in the 85th minute of play forced Årjäng's goalkeeper Allan Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Björk took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Björk. Allan Björk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Erling Åström struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Allan Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väskinde IF. Väskinde IF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
