With a little luck, Älmestad RK's Arvin Holmstedt got control of the ball when Walter Danielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustav Olsman to make the kick off. Daniel Lundgren's late challenge caught a Saltholmens FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Lundgren helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Älmestad RK got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Lundgren. If Walter Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 58 minutes, Kennet Rudqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saltholmens FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kennet Rudqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
