Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kim Jönsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Arne Hurtig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arne Hurtig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Kurt Snäll made a huge save. Adrian Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Josef Linquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uno Brogren's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Uno Brogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Uno Brogren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Linquist having to interfere. With his leg Kurt Snäll managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Utö IK's Tommy Hafström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th minute, Arne Hurtig left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utö IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 37th minute, Jan-Åke Björkkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute Uno Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Åke Björkkvist in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Snäll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerry Deckbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerry Deckbergh to make the kick off. Utö IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borrby the free kick. In the 68th minute, Jan-Åke Björkkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borrby's Rickard Larsfält shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Josef Linquist but with some difficulty. 70 minutes into the match, Borrby's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Deckbergh came free, but Kurt Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uno Brogren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Josef Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82ndth minute of the game Kim Jönsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Utö IK's Josef Linquist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Utö IK's Tommy Hafström got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Borrby's goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Deckbergh came free, but Kurt Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Arne Hurtig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utö IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arne Hurtig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerry Deckbergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kim Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Utö IK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
