Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) CACEKADA FC's Alexander Björk started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Alexander Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. Karl-Ove Östman's late challenge caught a Pilegården IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Ove Östman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CACEKADA FC's Karl-Ove Östman got a free kick in the 9th minute. Alexander Vennerström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Alexander Pihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henric Bergman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bo-Erik Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo-Erik Siggesson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christer Fors's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Alexander Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, CACEKADA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Bergman came free, but Bo-Erik Siggesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gösta Åkesson charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gösta Åkesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CACEKADA FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gösta Åkesson hit a great ball. If Henric Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Christer Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Christer Fors cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bo-Erik Siggesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alexander Pihlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Vennerström in the 48th minute. After the first half Pilegården IF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Fors stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christer Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, CACEKADA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sture Ekberg to maneuver through the defense. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Christer Fors kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Bo-Erik Siggesson never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Bo-Erik Siggesson was a little too slow when Henric Bergman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-2. Alexander Pihlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexander Björk, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute Alexander Vennerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Jack Alberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henric Bergman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pilegården IF's Christer Fors got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filiph Larsfält took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alexander Pihlberg. Pilegården IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Christer Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christer Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pilegården IF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
