Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils-Emil Kvarnström started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes FC Semriach got a freekick which was hit by Dan Linberg. Jonas Björkdal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Örjan Lundström. FC Semriach's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC Semriach's Örjan Lundström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Holm in the 10th minute of play. Jonathan Holm scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Örjan Lundström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tage Skog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Söderqwist having to interfere. If Tage Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd match minute, FC Semriach was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Falck to maneuver through the defense. Globo Gym Purple Cobras's Jonathan Holm got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Holm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Örjan Lundström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Malte Zachrisson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Holm made a kick off. FC Semriach's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jonathan Holm 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. In the 59th minute Tage Skog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konrad Söderqwist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Holm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Örjan Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konrad Söderqwist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Emil Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Globo Gym Purple Cobras's Konrad Söderqwist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Kvarnström in the 75th minute of play. Nils-Emil Kvarnström took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konrad Söderqwist. Konrad Söderqwist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After having played for 80 minutes, Tage Skog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Semriach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tage Skog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When FC Semriach's Nils-Emil Kvarnström in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Globo Gym Purple Cobras's goalie prevented a goal. Nils-Emil Kvarnström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Globo Gym Purple Cobras walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
