Birger Stål made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Odin in the 20th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Yngve Kjellman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Edvin Zachrisson fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brunk IF's protests and gave Edvin Zachrisson a yellow card for diving instead. Birger Stål was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tony Kämpe. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Lappträsk's zone, Vincent Arenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Kilman came out of the goal and Vincent Arenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Lappträsk defense, Claes Bergqvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Kilman. The Lappträsk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Kilman should have stopped the shot. The referee gave Lappträsk a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tony Kämpe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brunk IF's Birger Stål. 1-2. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brunk IF's goalkeeper Birger Stål, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Claes Bergqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Vincent Arenberg came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Brunk IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Arenberg couldn't finish the play. 99 minutes into the game, Henric Lönn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lappträsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brunk IF the free kick. The supporters of Brunk IF booed when Lappträsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Lönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Brunk IF eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
