After 5 played minutes Assyriska BK got a freekick which was hit by Alf Hamnberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Lund in the 8th minute of play forced Assyriska BK's goalkeeper Tobias Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Harald Påk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Hägert in the 11th minute of play forced Assyriska BK's goalkeeper Tobias Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustav Lund took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Bergström. Tobias Bergström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Påk in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Lund in the 22nd minute of play forced Assyriska BK's goalkeeper Tobias Bergström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Bergström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Hellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Harald Påk hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. A sloppy throw-in by Per-Åke Lindblom in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Assyriska BK's Alf Hamnberg. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Lund was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Österäng idrottssällskap booed when Assyriska BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Lustig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Bergström made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Andreas Hägert sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Assyriska BK's goalkeeper Tobias Bergström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andreas Hägert. Hjalmar Hellbom kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Andreas Hägert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Bergström having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Harald Påk took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Tobias Bergström to make any attempt to save it. Assyriska BK's Tobias Bergström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Lund in the 77th minute of play. Lucas Lustig was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 81 minutes, Österäng idrottssällskap's Magnus Larsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tobias Bergström. Tobias Bergström was a little too slow when Hjalmar Hellbom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas Hägert got free with Tobias Bergström in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Bergström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Hägert in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Assyriska BK's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Lund came free, but Tobias Bergström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 98th minute Hjalmar Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Bergström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Österäng idrottssällskap's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
