Emil Lööf placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After a rather tough play, Varbergs Bois's Robin Söderman got a free kick in the 19th minute. Johannes Granström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Karl Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute, Henrik Kollberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Månsarp FF's Karl Ström didn't even have to move. In the 29th minute of the match Tomas Andreasson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Ström skillfully saved the ball. In the 32nd minute, Claes Holm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Urban Alefors was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varbergs Bois's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Månsarp FF the free kick. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Ekenberg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 72 played minutes, Månsarp FF's Olof Wiberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Otto Waller came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The Månsarp FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Månsarp FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
