In the 3rd minute, Patrik Malmberg made a precise shot to the right of Anton Malmberg. Skelleftehamn IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Anton Malmberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Danielsson in the 7th minute of play. Patrik Malmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Malmberg having to interfere. Anton Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Sandström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Anton Malmberg made a huge save. Alexander Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Anton Malmberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Gösta Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Vennerdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Danielsson in the 29th minute of play forced Skelleftehamn IF's goalkeeper Anton Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Patrik Malmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Anton Malmberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stellan Ekerot hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Skagersvik defense, Leif Grep kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gösta Hermansson. The Skagersvik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gösta Hermansson should have stopped the shot. Rutger Vennerdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gösta Hermansson having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Danielsson was the one to do the kick off. If Nils-Erik Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rutger Vennerdal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gösta Hermansson having to make a save. Gösta Hermansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Erik Josefsson in the 71st minute. Josef Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Malmberg having to interfere. Josef Danielsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Malmberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Malmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Patrik Malmberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Malmberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Alexander Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Patrik Malmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skagersvik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 89th match minute, Skagersvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Malmberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Malmberg in the 92nd minute of play forced Skelleftehamn IF's goalkeeper Anton Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Skelleftehamn IF's zone, Josef Danielsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anton Malmberg came out of the goal and Josef Danielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Malmberg in the 95th minute of play forced Skelleftehamn IF's goalkeeper Anton Malmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, Skelleftehamn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melker Lind to maneuver through the defense. After 98 played minutes, Skagersvik's Karl-Magnus Nyman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anton Malmberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Skagersvik reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skelleftehamn IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skagersvik.
