Spectators: 7243 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Floda IF's Sakarias Bivall started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boris Olsmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gustaf Viklund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boris Olsmann ran back to his position shaking his head. When Herbert Håkansson came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Floda IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herbert Håkansson couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Sakarias Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Hedström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sakarias Bivall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven-Arne Hedström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Sakarias Bivall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floda IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakarias Bivall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustaf Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pontus Alebäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaf Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Olsmann in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of AIK-UTD booed when Floda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Håkansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Olsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Viklund having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Torbjörn Hellström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in AIK-UTD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Sven-Arne Hedström, was totally fooled by Floda IF's Viktor Blom, who 50 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pontus Alebäck made the kick off in the second half. Osvald Bergström's late challenge caught a Floda IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvald Bergström helped the player get up and apologised. Osvald Bergström kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Viktor Blom, 60 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pontus Alebäck in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaf Viklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Boris Olsmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sakarias Bivall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Hedström having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Vincent Carlsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Floda IF and the AIK-UTD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Floda IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AIK-UTD:s goal. Gustaf Viklund had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Sune Lang's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 81st minute Pontus Alebäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boris Olsmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaf Viklund having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Floda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Alebäck came free, but Gustaf Viklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torbjörn Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Pontus Alebäck took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gustaf Viklund to make any attempt to save it.
