Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lars-Erik Ambjörnsson to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Lars-Erik Ambjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Algutsrum IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lars-Erik Ambjörnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Nordin might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Per-Erik Grubb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
