After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sebastian Låsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dark Souls's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Låsberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan-Olof Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 12 minutes into the match, Dark Souls's Claes Månsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Olof Sundström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Olof Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Björk in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Dorotea's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Månsson came free, but Jan-Olof Sundström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Låsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Månsson struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Jan-Olof Sundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Nils-Emil Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans Näfver received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nils-Emil Blomqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Hans Näfver slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. After 41 minutes of play, Dark Souls's Sebastian Låsberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Olof Sundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claes Månsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Sundström having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Näfver was the one to do the kick off. Sebastian Låsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Olof Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Månsson in the 59th minute of the match. If Sebastian Låsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claes Månsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Olof Sundström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claes Månsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Claes Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claes Månsson in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Olof Sundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claes Månsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Sundström having to interfere. Dark Souls's Sebastian Låsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 played minutes Dorotea got a freekick which was hit by Hans Näfver. After 76 minutes of play, Dark Souls's Sebastian Låsberg made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Olof Sundström was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Månsson in the 79th minute of play forced Dorotea's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Sebastian Låsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dark Souls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Låsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Claes Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute, Claes Månsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Claes Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hjalmar Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Hans Näfver recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Dark Souls could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dorotea throughout the match.
