Walter Bergman scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sverker Åberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bröööl's goalkeeper Sverker Åberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Charles Bodin struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ernst Stenkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bröööl. Valter Sundberg scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sverker Åberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jens-Åke Brun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernst Stenkvist having to interfere. Ernst Stenkvist stood somewhat misplaced when Stellan Nord came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 22 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Sundberg in the 26th minute of play forced Bröööl's goalkeeper Sverker Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Bröööl's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Trillkott came free, but Sverker Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anton Vester charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Vester the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Charles Bodin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernst Stenkvist having to make a save. The supporters of Bröööl booed when Heby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Roger Kvalfält managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bröööl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Kvalfält was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Bröööl getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Charles Bodin hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles Bodin was the one to do the kick off. Ernst Stenkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Åke Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. From close distance Arne Påk pressed in the 1-3 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 58 minutes into the game. After 62 played minutes Heby got a freekick which was hit by Andy Trillkott. In the 64th minute, Stellan Nord got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute, Jens-Åke Brun sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Heby's Ernst Stenkvist didn't even have to move. Matthias Örtlund's late challenge caught a Bröööl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthias Örtlund helped the player get up and apologised. Walter Bergman charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Bergman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Heby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Bergman to maneuver through the defense. Heby's Ernst Stenkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Bodin in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stellan Nord in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst Stenkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. During the 79th minute of the match Matthias Örtlund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matthias Örtlund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Bröööl booed when Heby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Örtlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernst Stenkvist came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Bröööl's Stellan Nord. But to his dismay, Stellan Nord quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Charles Bodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd minute, Oliver Sandström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
