In the 5th minute, Isaac Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Evolution's Karl-Axel Pålsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. Olov Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Max Ahlrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Lindholmens IF got a freekick which was hit by Nils Askestät. If Göran Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arne Alströmmer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonathan Brandin went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Brandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evolution's Arne Alströmmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Käcker in the 37th minute of play. Arne Alströmmer was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Edvin Käcker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edvin Käcker really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 46th minute, Olov Ros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Göran Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Ros made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Jack Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Lindholmens IF fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Lindholmens IF's Edvin Käcker looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lindholmens IF's Max Ahlrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Lindholmens IF from getting a goal against them. Arne Alströmmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Arne Rosén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvin Käcker in the 70th minute of play forced Evolution's goalkeeper Arne Alströmmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Göran Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Göran Lundqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Max Ahlrot having to make a save. When Sven-Arne Rosén fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lindholmens IF's protests and gave Sven-Arne Rosén a yellow card for diving instead. Sven-Arne Rosén hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Max Ahlrot was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Olov Ros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olov Ros really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Edvin Käcker took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arne Alströmmer. Arne Alströmmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 86th minute Olov Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Ahlrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Göran Lundqvist came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Evolution fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Göran Lundqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Edvin Käcker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Alströmmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Edvin Käcker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 96th minute, Jonathan Brandin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Evolution players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lindholmens IF.
