Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Peter Hafström got the match started through his kick off. Melker Lindkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Kämpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Hafström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Harlén having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Hafström in the 9th minute of play forced Sibbhult FF's goalkeeper Fredric Harlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Kämpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melker Lindkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Herman Kämpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Bergsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Melker Lindkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Sundby United FC got a freekick which was hit by Georg Sandström. After 34 minutes, Vilgot Rosen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundby United FC and the Sibbhult FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herman Kämpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Melker Lindkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Sundby United FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Söder. Sibbhult FF's Filiph Rudkvist shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Melker Lindkvist but with some difficulty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Melker Lindkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Kämpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Herman Kämpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sibbhult FF booed when Sundby United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Frisck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herman Kämpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Melker Lindkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Kämpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melker Lindkvist having to interfere. Melker Lindkvist came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Sibbhult FF's Herman Kämpe. But to his dismay, Herman Kämpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The audience was convinced that Sven-Åke Pilblad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melker Lindkvist was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Herman Kämpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Elg charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell-Arne Elg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Sundby United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell-Arne Elg to maneuver through the defense. Sibbhult FF's Herman Kämpe got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Herman Kämpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melker Lindkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sibbhult FF booed when Sundby United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilgot Rosen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Sibbhult FF's Filiph Rudkvist tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sibbhult FF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
