Spectators: 7384 (Terracing: 5539, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) Norrköping's Jonny Holmgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roger Hammarbäck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonny Holmgren in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Patrik Wennerström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vistträsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norrköping the free kick. Patrik Wennerström hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jonny Holmgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Olof Ödmann kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Roger Hammarbäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Ahlqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Malcolm Ålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roger Hammarbäck came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Norrköping's Johan Myhr. But to his dismay, Johan Myhr quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roland Ahlqvist struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Roger Hammarbäck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrköping. In the 30th match minute, Vistträsk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Beckström to maneuver through the defense. When Roland Ahlqvist came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Norrköping fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Ahlqvist couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Norrköping defense, Christopher Jansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Malcolm Ålberg. The Norrköping fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Malcolm Ålberg should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Norrköping booed when Vistträsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Beckström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johan Myhr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Roger Hammarbäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Vistträsk's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Ahlqvist came free, but Roger Hammarbäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christopher Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vistträsk's goalkeeper Roger Hammarbäck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 56 minutes into the match, Norrköping's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Jansson came free, but Malcolm Ålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Roland Ahlqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roger Hammarbäck was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Ambros during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Roland Ahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Roland Ahlqvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Roger Hammarbäck, passed just outside the right post. Malcolm Ålberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christopher Jansson in the 76th minute of play. Jonny Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Roland Ahlqvist in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roger Hammarbäck, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roger Hammarbäck made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Roland Ahlqvist sent off a good shot on target. Roland Ahlqvist struck a weak shot in the 85th minute.
