After a defensive mix-up in Fnatic's zone, Dan Vestberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rune Engström came out of the goal and Dan Vestberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Svartsjö's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sven-Olof Fredriksson 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Sven-Olof Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Sverker Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fnatic. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Mats Asklöv hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Per-Erik Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svartsjö's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Erik Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes of play, Svartsjö's Dan Vestberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rune Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Fnatic's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Erik Fredriksson came free, but Rune Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Engström was a little too slow when Dan Vestberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 1-2. Dan Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Engström having to interfere. Isak Dalström charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isak Dalström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dan Vestberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Engström having to interfere. The Fnatic supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Svartsjö's performance. The match ended with a win for Svartsjö.
