With a little luck, Luxostars IF's Eddie Nykvist got control of the ball when Wictor Björklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute, Jonathan Sävström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Olsson was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Olsson couldn't finish the play. After having played for 72 minutes, Stig-Åke Vacker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sveg IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Vacker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Roger Holm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Harald Martinsson, 0-2.
