Per-Arne Enegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christoffer Jakobsson took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Arne Enegren. Per-Arne Enegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Kjell Vase sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Vase in the 40th minute of play forced Mellbystrand's goalkeeper Per-Arne Enegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christoffer Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mellbystrand's goalkeeper Per-Arne Enegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Vase to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christoffer Jakobsson got free with Per-Arne Enegren in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per-Arne Enegren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoffer Jakobsson in the 55th minute. Christoffer Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Per-Arne Enegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sven-Erik Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vidsel's Pontus Söderlund got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Christoffer Jakobsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Christoffer Jakobsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Per-Arne Enegren made a huge save. Lennart Hedman succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-6. Christoffer Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vidsel played a much better game than Mellbystrand and deserved their victory. The Mellbystrand players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
