No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valter Lång stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Folke Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Djurgarden IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folke Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes Lacio fc got a freekick which was hit by Max Bark. Jens-Ola Smitt scored 5-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Törnqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 97 minutes into the match, Lacio fc's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ola Smitt came free, but Kurt Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Folke Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Jens-Ola Smitt in the 102nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Djurgarden IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
