Alex Åman came out of the goal and Erland Skoog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Åman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Berggren, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. André Lundberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Skoglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Åman having to interfere. Sono Pazzi Questi Romani's Lennart Berggren got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Bayern Munchen's Krister Kilström got a free kick in the 24th minute. FC Bayern Munchen's Alex Åman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Skoog in the 25th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sono Pazzi Questi Romani's goalkeeper André Lundberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frans Skoglund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stig-Arne Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Alexander Tholsson did an outstanding performance 62 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 2-0 to the right of an irritated André Lundberg in the goal. André Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Lennartsson in the 65th minute of the match. If Frans Skoglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliot Lennartsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Lundberg having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, FC Bayern Munchen's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Berggren came free, but Alex Åman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
