When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jakob Persson sped through Lövestad BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrik Lidström. If Mathias Alegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Jakob Persson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Lidström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Måns Holm charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Måns Holm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Måns Holm hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Kaj Biörkquist sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Walter Pååk threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Kaj Biörkquist this time. Patrik Lidström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakob Persson went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Jakob Persson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Lidström was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Mathias Alegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Lidström having to interfere. If Mathias Alegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Krister Strömqvist made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Lövestad BF booed when Odensbacken IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Falkrans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 52 minutes of play Odensbacken IF's Måns Holm was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Odensbacken IF getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Måns Holm hit a great ball. Mathias Alegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Patrik Lidström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Alegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lövestad BF's Patrik Lidström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Lövestad BF from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Mathias Alegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Lövestad BF booed when Odensbacken IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakob Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Alegren got free with Patrik Lidström in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Odensbacken IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias Alegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Odensbacken IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lövestad BF.
