The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Bayern Munchen's Alex Åman got control of the ball when Erland Skoog tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, FC Bayern Munchen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erland Skoog fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With an all-out effort, Sono Pazzi Questi Romani's Alex Åman threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lennart Berggren, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Johan Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. After the first half FC Bayern Munchen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lennart Berggren was the one to do the kick off. Pär Back hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Johan Henriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johan Henriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Elliot Lennartsson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. André Lundberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bayern Munchen. Erland Skoog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alex Åman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erland Skoog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Pär Back shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Åman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart Berggren in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Åman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elliot Lennartsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Söderkvist during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th minute, Ivan Söderkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Sono Pazzi Questi Romani's goalkeeper André Lundberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elliot Lennartsson. 0-2 became the score in the 77th minute when Elliot Lennartsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pär Back hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Bayern Munchen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
