Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oskar Kruuse took the kick off in the first half of the match. Staffan Lindqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl Vallgren came out and tried to block the shot, but Staffan Lindqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Henrik Groth charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrik Groth the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fagersta bruk getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Henrik Groth hit a great ball. Mikael Alström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Morgan Jonasson fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jotunheim's protests and gave Morgan Jonasson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fagersta bruk booed when Jotunheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Sivert Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fagersta bruk's supporters rose to their feet, but Sivert Erserman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Lindberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oskar Kruuse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Lindberg having to interfere. Karl Vallgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per-Åke Eliasson in the 25th minute. Mikael Alström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Vallgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Per-Åke Eliasson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Karl Vallgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Per-Åke Eliasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fagersta bruk's zone, Per-Åke Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl Vallgren came out of the goal and Per-Åke Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Sivert Erserman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagersta bruk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sivert Erserman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Per-Åke Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fagersta bruk's Karl Vallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Åke Eliasson in the 58th minute of play. Edvin Alebäck kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Sivert Erserman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bo Lindberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Bo Lindberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Kruuse in the 75th minute of the match. Karl Vallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Alström in the 76th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Jotunheim got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Hultstrand. In the 81st minute, Oskar Kruuse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl Vallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Åke Eliasson in the 84th minute of the match. Bo Lindberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sivert Erserman in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Fagersta bruk's Elof Kullander got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Per-Åke Eliasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fagersta bruk's Karl Vallgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mikael Alström took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl Vallgren. Karl Vallgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. There was no doubt that Jotunheim were the better team. Jotunheim's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
