Spectators: 6545 (Terracing: 5545, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arvid Browald took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Gräddhyllan's Jens-Åke Pihlblad got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gais's Arman Björkdal got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Pihlblad in the 10th minute of play forced Gais's goalkeeper Ove Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Jens-Åke Pihlblad recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ove Nordström. Jens-Åke Pihlblad showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Gais's goalkeeper Ove Nordström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malte Salqvist. In the 21st minute Alexander Lindblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agne Ekman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Malte Salqvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ove Nordström. Malte Salqvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Tim Dalberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Ekman having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Gais's Vilhelm Pålsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vilhelm Pålsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gais protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vilhelm Pålsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Gais's Vilhelm Pålsson got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Tim Dalberg came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tim Dalberg couldn't finish the play. Ove Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Åke Pihlblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malte Salqvist took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ove Nordström. Ove Nordström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 44th minute, Vilhelm Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes Gais got a freekick which was hit by Tim Dalberg. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Tim Dalberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Malte Salqvist made a precise shot to the right of Ove Nordström. Gais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 67th minute Malte Salqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tim Dalberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agne Ekman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Hök, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Gräddhyllan getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Joakim Ahlerot hit a great ball. Elof Hök was extremely unlucky when he, in the 84th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Agne Ekman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Dalberg in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Pihlblad in the 87th minute of play forced Gais's goalkeeper Ove Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Dalberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Agne Ekman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, FC Gräddhyllan's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tim Dalberg fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 94th match minute, FC Gräddhyllan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Pihlblad to maneuver through the defense. Gais's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
