The supporters of Jenny Ljung ACF booed when Västantorps IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes Västantorps IF got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Sjöberg. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ola Kilman got free with Kjell Hellström in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ola Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ola Kilman in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kjell Hellström, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alvar Ekblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alvar Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernt Clementsson's late challenge caught a Jenny Ljung ACF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernt Clementsson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Västantorps IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernt Clementsson to maneuver through the defense. Alvar Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Hellström having to interfere. Västantorps IF's Kjell Hellström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Västantorps IF from getting a goal against them. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jenny Ljung ACF's goalkeeper Nils Sundin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ola Kilmans short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Kjell Hellström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Västantorps IF's Fritz Hurtig in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jenny Ljung ACF's goalie prevented a goal. If Alvar Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Jenny Ljung ACF's Ola Kilman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Hellström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes, Kim Haegg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Västantorps IF and the Jenny Ljung ACF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Västantorps IF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kim Haegg hit a great ball. Ola Kilman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kjell Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mikael Ekström in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jenny Ljung ACF's zone, Mikael Ekström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Sundin came out of the goal and Mikael Ekström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, Jenny Ljung ACF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Ekblom to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Sjöberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ola Kilman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kjell Hellström having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ola Kilman in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Hellström saved Västantorps IF from getting behind. Fritz Hurtig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ola Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Hellström having to interfere. Ola Kilman scored 3-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell Hellström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ola Kilman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Kjell Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Fabian Sjöberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ola Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Jenny Ljung ACF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
