Nils Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Wennerström in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Vincent Vesterberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Elleone's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jenny Ljung ACF the free kick. A collision led to FC Elleone getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vincent Vesterberg hit a great ball. Henrik Wennerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Sundin having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, FC Elleone's Roland Grelsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils Sundin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edwin Trillkott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvar Ekblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, FC Elleone's Boris Ekström got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Alvar Ekblom made a precise shot to the right of Edwin Trillkott. FC Elleone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 32nd minute, Henrik Wennerström made a precise shot to the right of Nils Sundin. Jenny Ljung ACF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Roland Grelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sören Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Henrik Wennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roland Grelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrik Wennerström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, FC Elleone's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Ekblom came free, but Edwin Trillkott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, FC Elleone's Roland Grelsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils Sundin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henrik Wennerström might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nils Sundin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Henrik Wennerström ran back to his position shaking his head. Roland Grelsson struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Nils Sundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Elleone. Roland Grelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Sundin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Wennerström in the 75th minute of play forced Jenny Ljung ACF's goalkeeper Nils Sundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Elleone's Henrik Wennerström got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roland Grelsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Jenny Ljung ACF booed when FC Elleone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Grelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Henrik Wennerström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
