Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Cirkus Showbiz's Axel Smitt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Smitt in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kjell Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ola Hökqvist had great luck who in the 7thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fritz Hurtig from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mikael Ekström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ola Hökqvist made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Hurtig in the 13th minute of play forced Cirkus Showbiz's goalkeeper Ola Hökqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, Cirkus Showbiz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Bergvall to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Alf Bergkvist had to leave the field with a concussion. Axel Smitt hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Axel Smitt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Fabian Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Per-Oskar Säfström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikael Ekström was the one to do the kick off. 65 minutes into the match, Västantorps IF's goalkeeper Kjell Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Biörkman. After a defensive mix-up in Västantorps IF's zone, Krister Biörkman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kjell Hellström came out of the goal and Krister Biörkman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 played minutes Västantorps IF got a freekick which was hit by Fritz Hurtig. In the 76th minute, Axel Smitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Krister Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Västantorps IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! 0-1 came through a penalty shot after 82 played minutes, when Cirkus Showbiz:s Hannes Hökqvist calmly waited for Västantorps IF:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Ola Hökqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Ekström in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Mikael Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ola Hökqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Oskar Säfström kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Cirkus Showbiz's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Ekström came free, but Ola Hökqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the match, Västantorps IF's goalkeeper Kjell Hellström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krister Biörkman. Axel Smitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Kjell Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
