In the 9th minute Anton Bolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gösta Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Sturkö got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Carlberg. Håkan Britz was a little too slow when Gösta Martinsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-0. Morgan Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Sandberg in the 21st minute of play. Hannes Sandberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Sturkö's Anton Bolin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morgan Valrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gösta Martinsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. The supporters of Traryd booed when Sturkö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes, Traryd's Ivar Mellberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Håkan Britz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Traryd reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anton Bolin to make the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Traryd's goalkeeper Morgan Valrot, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonas Nyström hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Hannes Sandberg scored 1-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Morgan Valrot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gösta Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
