In the 8thth minute of the game Bengt-Rune Christoffersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Graninge IK's Elliot Valrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kristoffer Askelöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Ivarsson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Rune Christoffersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elliot Valrot was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Elliot Valrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Christoffersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Håkan Lund hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torsten Strömberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Bengt-Rune Christoffersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Graninge IK booed when Långt på Lasse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. With a little luck, Graninge IK's Elliot Valrot got control of the ball when Bertil Harman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elliot Valrot made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Rikard Lindgren sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Ludvig Lenberg sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Elliot Valrot threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ludvig Lenberg this time. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Elliot Valrot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Elliot Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Christoffersson in the 75th minute of play. If Bengt-Rune Christoffersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Bengt-Rune Christoffersson took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Elliot Valrot to make any attempt to save it. With 82 minutes on the clock, Johan Lindgren commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 82nd minute, one of Graninge IK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Graninge IK. Elliot Valrot went to the wrong direction when Robin Ersman was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Robin Ersman sped through Graninge IK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elliot Valrot. Elliot Valrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Christoffersson in the 94th minute of play. Elliot Valrot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Runberg in the 96th minute. Felix Runberg kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 96thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Graninge IK's keeper Elliot Valrot was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The Graninge IK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Långt på Lasse were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
