Tobias Wennerqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Adrian Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Bäckström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Oskar Broman, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Gilbert Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Kolberg in the 12th minute of play. After having played for 14 minutes, Sven-Oskar Broman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haparanda BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Oskar Broman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Mommelycke's Tobias Wennerqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christoffer Hedin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Adrian Arvidsson made a huge save. 23 minutes into the game, Maximilian Ivarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mommelycke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haparanda BK the free kick. After 23 played minutes FC Mommelycke got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Ivarsson. It was beautiful to see Haparanda BK's Casper Bäckman in action when he in the 25th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 26 played minutes FC Mommelycke got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Högman. After having played for 30 minutes, Sven-Oskar Broman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 32 minutes, Christoffer Hedin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mommelycke and the Haparanda BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Haparanda BK booed when FC Mommelycke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Hedin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åke Kolberg struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Gilbert Bäckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haparanda BK. After 36 played minutes FC Mommelycke got a freekick which was hit by Christer Albäck. Christoffer Hedin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Åke Kolberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

FC Mommelycke's Gilbert Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Mommelycke from getting a goal against them. If Sven-Oskar Broman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Oskar Broman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elof Rosendal hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Tobias Wennerqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Haparanda BK's zone, Tobias Wennerqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Arvidsson came out of the goal and Tobias Wennerqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Christoffer Hedin struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Adrian Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mommelycke. Adrian Arvidsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Wennerqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tobias Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Wennerqvist in the 80th minute of play. Åke Kolberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert Bäckström having to interfere. There was no doubt that FC Mommelycke were the better team. FC Mommelycke's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
