The audience was convinced that Kasper Björck's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Alströmmer was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After 28 played minutes Bowdown got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Björck. Billy Torstensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Björkkvist in the 29th minute of the match. Kasper Björck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Ove Alströmmer came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bowdown's Ronny Lundgren. But to his dismay, Ronny Lundgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ronny Lundgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Ove Alströmmer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ronny Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jan-Ove Alströmmer was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Kasper Björck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Erik Björkkvist made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Bowdown's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Björkkvist came free, but Billy Torstensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Ove Alströmmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Claesborgs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Lundgren came free, but Jan-Ove Alströmmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claesborgs BK's Jan-Ove Alströmmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Claesborgs BK from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Bowdown defense, Jens-Erik Björkkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Torstensson. The Bowdown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Torstensson should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute, Kasper Björck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes, Richard Persson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claesborgs BK and the Bowdown players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bowdown booed when Claesborgs BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Lundgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Alströmmer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bowdown's Ragnar Edström got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jens-Erik Björkkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Torstensson having to interfere. Ove Hellkvist's late challenge caught a Claesborgs BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ove Hellkvist helped the player get up and apologised. Billy Torstensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Bryngelsson in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Claesborgs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Lundgren came free, but Jan-Ove Alströmmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bowdown's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
