In the 7th minute Jon Njurenius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Johansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Joakim Björck fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valsjöbyn IFK's protests and gave Joakim Björck a yellow card for diving instead. Joakim Björck kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Kristian Johansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Njurenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of Valsjöbyn IFK booed when Amar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Öfverman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Johansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kurt Högman hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Håkan Kristiansson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Högman went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. David Fristedt's late challenge caught a Amar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Fristedt helped the player get up and apologised. 41 minutes into the match, Valsjöbyn IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Högman came free, but Håkan Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valsjöbyn IFK's attentive Joakim Björck managed to snatch the ball when Jimmy Öfverman made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. Jon Njurenius struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. The tension between the Amar and the Valsjöbyn IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valsjöbyn IFK's Håkan Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Lindholm in the 60th minute of play. Jon Njurenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Johansson having to interfere. Håkan Kristiansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Högman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikael Lindholm in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Kristiansson saved Valsjöbyn IFK from getting behind. Valsjöbyn IFK's Håkan Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Brask in the 67th minute of play. Kurt Högman took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Håkan Kristiansson. Håkan Kristiansson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 71st minute of the game. One of Valsjöbyn IFK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Amar:s goal. Håkan Kristiansson had in the 73rdth minute some difficulties stopping Mikael Lindholm's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Håkan Kristiansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Brask in the 74th minute of the match. David Fristedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Högman in the 79th minute of play forced Valsjöbyn IFK's goalkeeper Håkan Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 played minutes Valsjöbyn IFK got a freekick which was hit by Leo Wallman. The supporters of Valsjöbyn IFK booed when Amar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sten Stålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valsjöbyn IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Njurenius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Johansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Amar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Valsjöbyn IFK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
