Måns Bokelund made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Reine Bohlin sent off a good shot on target. Philip Wester struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Måns Bokelund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SambaDeluxe. When Rune Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SambaDeluxe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Birger Möllgren hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When Isac Tinglöv fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SambaDeluxe's protests and gave Isac Tinglöv a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Isac Tinglöv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sivert Bergren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Arne Billing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Måns Bokelund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Bohlin in the 27th minute of play. SambaDeluxe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Wester was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reine Bohlin succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 43rd playminute. Rune Gustafsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Måns Bokelund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rune Gustafsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birger Möllgren to make the kick off. In the 61st minute Rune Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Bokelund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Reine Bohlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Måns Bokelund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
