The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rune Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Alf Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sysslebäck BK's goalkeeper Alf Alkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Albert Ugla's late challenge caught a Sysslebäck BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Ugla helped the player get up and apologised. Albert Ugla kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pär Ryberg in the 11th minute of play forced Sysslebäck BK's goalkeeper Alf Alkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, SambaDeluxe's Rune Gustafsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Alkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of SambaDeluxe booed when Sysslebäck BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikael Wallmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Leif Billström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SambaDeluxe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Billström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alf Alkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Gustafsson in the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Pär Ryberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. SambaDeluxe's supporters rose to their feet, but Pär Ryberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alf Alkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sysslebäck BK's Alf Alkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Gustafsson in the 23rd minute of play. Mikael Wallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Pär Ryberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alf Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Sysslebäck BK's goalkeeper Alf Alkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leif Billström. A collision led to Sysslebäck BK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Anton Berggren hit a great ball. Rune Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alf Alkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albert Ugla struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Alf Alkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SambaDeluxe. After a defensive mix-up in Sysslebäck BK's zone, Reine Bohlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Alkvist came out of the goal and Reine Bohlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sysslebäck BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Rune Gustafsson scored to the left of an out of position Alf Alkvist, making the score, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rune Gustafsson to make the kick off. In the 56th match minute, SambaDeluxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Tinglöv to maneuver through the defense. Leif Billström struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Alf Alkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SambaDeluxe. Georg Asserlind's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sivert Bergren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Sysslebäck BK's goal looked a bit too open when Reine Bohlin came free, but Alf Alkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Filiph Forss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anton Berggren kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Albert Ugla took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Alkvist. Alf Alkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a rather tough play, SambaDeluxe's Reine Bohlin got a free kick in the 86th minute. Georg Asserlind could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Sivert Bergren made a huge save. In the 89th minute of the match Rune Gustafsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Alkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Reine Bohlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pär Ryberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Alkvist having to interfere. SambaDeluxe's Reine Bohlin got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that SambaDeluxe were the better team. SambaDeluxe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
