Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Baltzar Motala's Morgan Telin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herbert Engström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingmar Wallander having to make a save. Jan-Olof Wahlström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Ingmar Wallander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Allan Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jonny Zachrisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Åhus's Roger Wassenius got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Peter Josefsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ingmar Wallander showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Allan Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åhus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Lindgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jan-Olof Wahlström fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baltzar Motala's protests and gave Jan-Olof Wahlström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Åhus booed when Baltzar Motala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Wahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Allan Lindgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åhus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Lindgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 played minutes Åhus got a freekick which was hit by Harald Uggstedt. Ingmar Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Telin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Baltzar Motala's zone, Allan Lindgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonny Zachrisson came out of the goal and Allan Lindgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Morgan Telin might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingmar Wallander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Morgan Telin ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Åhus's zone, Gottfrid Låsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ingmar Wallander came out of the goal and Gottfrid Låsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Morgan Telin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åhus's Ingmar Wallander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Allan Lindgren to make the kick off. Allan Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonny Zachrisson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Östensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltzar Motala were furious when Samuel Jönsson was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 54 minutes into the game, one of Baltzar Motala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Baltzar Motala's Jonny Zachrisson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Östensson in the 58th minute of play. Gottfrid Låsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonny Zachrisson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Östensson in the 61st minute of the match. Daniel Östensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jonny Zachrisson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harald Uggstedt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, one of Åhus:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Peter Josefsson shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Gottfrid Låsberg struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ingmar Wallander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baltzar Motala. If Gottfrid Låsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Daniel Östensson came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Åhus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Östensson couldn't finish the play. Daniel Östensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 minutes, Daniel Östensson made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Baltzar Motala's Jonny Zachrisson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
