Melker Wickander hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The supporters of Katthuset BK booed when Hermodsdals FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Oskar Lindell didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claes Beckström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börje Martinsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vidar Fagrell's late challenge caught a Hermodsdals FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vidar Fagrell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Katthuset BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidar Fagrell to maneuver through the defense. Roger Valrot might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rasmus Nordin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Valrot ran back to his position shaking his head. Kristoffer Viberg kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Lindell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Claes Beckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Roger Valrot notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Hermodsdals FF's Rasmus Nordin. Rasmus Nordin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 81 minutes, Börje Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hermodsdals FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Karl-Oskar Lindell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Roger Valrot came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Katthuset BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Valrot couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Hermodsdals FF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
