The audience was convinced that Anton Jernberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claes Beckström was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 43rdth minute of the game Anton Jernberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Katthuset BK's Claes Beckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Åkerman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Holmberg in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stefan Holmberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the BAJEN70 defense, Roger Valrot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Åkerman. The BAJEN70 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Åkerman should have stopped the shot. Claes Beckström made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Tommy Billberg sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melker Wickander during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Katthuset BK got a freekick which was hit by Melker Wickander. In the 62nd minute, Wilhelm Johnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Melker Wickander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute Anton Jernberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claes Beckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Jernberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of BAJEN70 booed when Katthuset BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Beckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Jernberg in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Katthuset BK's goalkeeper Claes Beckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Billberg. In the 86th minute, Anton Jernberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute of the match Ingvar Sillén shot from a long distance. A collision led to BAJEN70 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Henric Högberg hit a great ball. The Katthuset BK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
