But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Billy Bohlin couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute Rickard Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Vallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billy Bohlin got free with Gösta Vallander in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as IK S's Örjan Levander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gösta Vallander. That made the score 1-2 after 32 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Rickard Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. IK S's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickard Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gösta Vallander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billy Bohlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Gösta Vallander made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Team TC's goalkeeper Gösta Vallander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Örjan Levander. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

A very good chance. In the 54th minute of the match Joseph Morat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gösta Vallander skillfully saved the ball. After 62 played minutes, IK S's Patrik Gallin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gösta Vallander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in IK S reached it. Team TC's Gösta Vallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billy Bohlin in the 84th minute of play. After some careless play in the Team TC defense, Örjan Levander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gösta Vallander. The Team TC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gösta Vallander should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Wilhelm Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Bokelund was a little too slow when Torbjörn Lundqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-3. The IK S supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Team TC's performance. The match ended with a win for Team TC.
