Reine Wennersten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo-Erik Lekberg in the 6th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Ängelholm's Anthon Johansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axel Apelkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Magnus Helander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Rishög's Axel Apelkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Helander in the 15th minute of play. When Magnus Helander came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Ängelholm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magnus Helander couldn't finish the play. If Magnus Helander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes, Magnus Helander made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Rishög's Axel Apelkvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Granström during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Helander in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Rishög's goalkeeper Axel Apelkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Anthon Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Rishög defense, Magnus Helander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Axel Apelkvist. The FC Rishög fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Axel Apelkvist should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Anthon Johansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Apelkvist was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. The FC Rishög players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ängelholm were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magnus Helander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfons Jansson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Helander in the 54th minute of play forced FC Rishög's goalkeeper Axel Apelkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Rishög booed when Ängelholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magnus Helander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Apelkvist having to interfere. A collision led to FC Rishög getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Adam Granström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo-Erik Lekberg in the 75th minute of play forced Ängelholm's goalkeeper Reine Wennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Magnus Helander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Apelkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Ängelholm got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Johansson. 89 minutes into the match, Adam Granström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reine Wennersten. Ängelholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adam Granström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Axel Apelkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Helander in the 93rd minute of play. After 99 minutes FC Rishög's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gunnar Vallin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ängelholm's corner Gunnar Vallin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Axel Apelkvist quite easily take care of the ball. Ängelholm's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
