Patric Beneth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Pontus Josefsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vedevåg booed when BK Oljepengar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patric Kjellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Bror Dalström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vedevåg's supporters rose to their feet, but Bror Dalström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patric Beneth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rikard Hellström made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Felix Asklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vedevåg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Oljepengar the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vedevåg's Felix Asklund got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Rikard Hellström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Ahlén. Vedevåg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rikard Hellström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Pontus Josefsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patric Beneth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Harald Mellbad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Mellbad in the 76th minute of play forced Vedevåg's goalkeeper Robin Ahlén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rikard Hellström hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Rikard Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robin Ahlén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rikard Hellström in the 81st minute of the match. Felix Asklund got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bror Dalström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Patric Beneth made a huge save. Rikard Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rikard Hellström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
