Joar Magnusson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 7th playminute. Ian Glanselius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joar Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Mikael Apelkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Söderberga FC booed when Kinnahult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonny Strömbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikael Apelkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Strömbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Tham's late challenge caught a Söderberga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carl Tham helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd minute, Carl Tham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Boris Ljungberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Glanselius was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Olov Kuse might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ian Glanselius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 37 minutes, Andréas Lundin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kinnahult and the Söderberga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kinnahult's Andréas Lundin got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Kinnahult's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Ljungberg came free, but Ian Glanselius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olov Kuse made a kick off. Mikael Apelkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonny Strömbom's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Söderberga FC's goalkeeper Mikael Apelkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Strömbom in the 59th minute of play forced Söderberga FC's goalkeeper Mikael Apelkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Joar Magnusson came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Kinnahult fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joar Magnusson couldn't finish the play. Mikael Apelkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joar Magnusson in the 64th minute of the match. Joar Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Apelkvist having to interfere. Boris Ljungberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ian Glanselius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Söderberga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Vidman to maneuver through the defense. Kjell Tingberg charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Tingberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kinnahult's Kjell Tingberg got a free kick in the 87th minute. After having played for 92 minutes, Joar Magnusson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kinnahult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joar Magnusson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikael Apelkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Magnusson in the 97th minute of play. The Kinnahult manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Söderberga FC to win.
