Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ulf Alström got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Sörbygden IFK booed when Grimslöv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunnar Arvidsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Sture Björck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulf Alström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ivar Ekrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivar Ekrot came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sörbygden IFK's Daniel Hellsing. But to his dismay, Daniel Hellsing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Gabriel Gadd charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Gadd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Sörbygden IFK got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Gadd. After 38 minutes of play, Grimslöv's Michel Asserlindh made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kalle Alegren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Matthias Hellsing hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Örtendal was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 42nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Kalle Alegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Måns Sundén in the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Sven-Oskar Månsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grimslöv's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sörbygden IFK the free kick. After recieving a nice pass, Sörbygden IFK's Matthias Hellsing tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Asserlindh to strike the kick off in the second half. Michel Asserlindh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wiktor Smedfeldt fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sörbygden IFK's protests and gave Wiktor Smedfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sörbygden IFK's Wiktor Smedfeldt got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Michel Asserlindh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sture Björck got free with Kalle Alegren in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61stth minute of the game Michel Asserlindh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sörbygden IFK's Kalle Alegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Sture Björck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kalle Alegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the game, Nils-Emil Elg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sörbygden IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grimslöv the free kick. Sture Björck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalle Alegren having to interfere. Kalle Alegren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sture Björck in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sörbygden IFK's goalkeeper Kalle Alegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kalle Alegren made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Sture Björck sent off a good shot on target. Nils-Emil Elg kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Grimslöv played a much better game than Sörbygden IFK and deserved their victory. The Sörbygden IFK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
