Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sten Näver to make the kick off. The supporters of AIK booed when Smedjebacken BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Wållander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingvar Törnkvist's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bertil Majman firmly grabbed it by the left post. The AIK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Smedjebacken BF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
