Spectators: 7300 (Terracing: 5477, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Åke Skarkman took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Karl-Åke Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallåsen RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Åke Skarkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Höja IF's Evert Söderkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Arvidsson in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karl-Åke Skarkman in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evert Söderkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Höja IF booed when Tallåsen RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Höja IF's Linus Giöck got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Allan Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Söderkvist having to interfere. Tallåsen RK's Hannes Telin pulled a muscle in his back after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ture Johansson during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 43 minutes, Allan Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallåsen RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Arvidsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jörn Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Allan Arvidsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallåsen RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Arvidsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Söderkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Linus Giöck made a kick off. Sven-Åke Drewitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Hammarström, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Torbjörn Hammarström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höja IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Hammarström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Åke Drewitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the match, Tallåsen RK's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Giöck came free, but Sven-Åke Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Torbjörn Hammarström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Höja IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Hammarström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Linus Giöck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torbjörn Hammarström might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Åke Drewitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjörn Hammarström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute of the match Birger Apelqvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven-Åke Drewitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Höja IF's Evert Söderkvist got control of the ball when Allan Arvidsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ture Johansson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 76 minutes had been played. After 77 played minutes Höja IF got a freekick which was hit by Ture Johansson. Karl-Åke Skarkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Lindblom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan Arvidsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Evert Söderkvist made a huge save. With a little luck, Höja IF's Evert Söderkvist got control of the ball when Allan Arvidsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Engström in the 90th minute of play forced Höja IF's goalkeeper Evert Söderkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evert Söderkvist made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Allan Arvidsson sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Tage Lundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höja IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tage Lundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Åke Drewitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Torbjörn Hammarström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tallåsen RK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
