In the 3rd minute, Torbjörn Hammarström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Höja IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Näver came free, but Evert Söderkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 7 minutes on the clock, Karl Ahlberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Höja IF a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jimmy Stenström, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Smedjebacken BF's Charlie Nord. 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Smedjebacken BF's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Giöck came free, but Charlie Nord reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Höja IF's Torbjörn Hammarström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Nord narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Smedjebacken BF's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Hammarström came free, but Charlie Nord reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Höja IF's Linus Giöck got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Torbjörn Hammarström scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charlie Nord, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Höja IF's Linus Giöck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charlie Nord narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Linus Giöck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Höja IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Linus Giöck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlie Nord breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingvar Törnkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Linus Giöck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Höja IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. If Torbjörn Hammarström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Ragnar Helberg charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ragnar Helberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th minute, Ragnar Helberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charlie Nord stood somewhat misplaced when Linus Giöck came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 66 minute. In the 71st minute, Höja IF's Linus Giöck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charlie Nord. Charlie Nord yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Charlie Nord made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Torbjörn Hammarström sent off a good shot on target. Charlie Nord was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Linus Giöck showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 81 minute of play. Torbjörn Hammarström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charlie Nord made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Giöck in the 95th minute of play. The Höja IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Höja IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
