The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Christer Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Helge Siöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Vilgot Rosendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gröndals BK's Christer Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Blom in the 12th minute of play. Christer Axelsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vilgot Rosendal's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Helge Siöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiph Blomqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Torgny Boklund made a huge save. In the 29thth minute of the game Stig Blom who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gröndals BK's Christer Axelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilgot Rosendal in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Axelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Egon Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torgny Boklund having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiph Blomqvist in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torgny Boklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 minutes, Filiph Blomqvist made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. INA FAREEY's Torgny Boklund tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute, Allan Rosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Blom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Filiph Blomqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torgny Boklund was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54th minute, Johan Granqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Filiph Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind INA FAREEY's goalkeeper Torgny Boklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Anthon Lagerberg fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INA FAREEY's protests and gave Anthon Lagerberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gröndals BK booed when INA FAREEY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthon Lagerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torgny Boklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiph Blomqvist in the 65th minute of play. Filiph Blomqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Torgny Boklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filiph Blomqvist in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torgny Boklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rickard Dahlberg took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christer Axelsson. Christer Axelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind INA FAREEY's goalkeeper Torgny Boklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, INA FAREEY's goal looked a bit too open when Filiph Blomqvist came free, but Torgny Boklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gröndals BK's Helge Siöberg got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in INA FAREEY's zone, Filiph Blomqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torgny Boklund came out of the goal and Filiph Blomqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torgny Boklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiph Blomqvist in the 89th minute of the match. Christer Axelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christer Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Helge Siöberg struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Torgny Boklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gröndals BK.
