In the 9th match minute, Smedjebacken BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dick Kristiansson to maneuver through the defense. Tallåsen RK's Arvin Felin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Smedjebacken BF. Charlie Nord showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Allan Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Nord having to interfere. Allan Arvidsson scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charlie Nord, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Smedjebacken BF's Rickard Löv got a free kick in the 21st minute. Allan Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Charlie Nord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Törnkvist struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Sven-Åke Drewitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smedjebacken BF. If Ingvar Törnkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Åke Drewitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Näver, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Sten Näver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Sten Näver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Tallåsen RK's Dan Lindblom got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Karl-Åke Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallåsen RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Åke Skarkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Arvidsson in the 45th minute of play forced Smedjebacken BF's goalkeeper Charlie Nord to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Smedjebacken BF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tallåsen RK a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Arvin Felin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Smedjebacken BF's Charlie Nord. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Törnkvist made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Allan Arvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tallåsen RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 72nd minute Karl-Åke Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Nord saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tallåsen RK booed when Smedjebacken BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Löv didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Karl-Åke Skarkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 87 minutes, Karl-Åke Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallåsen RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Åke Skarkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Åke Skarkman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Charlie Nord. That made the score 0-5 in the 91 minute of play. Smedjebacken BF's Charlie Nord proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Smedjebacken BF from getting a goal against them. Allan Arvidsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Charlie Nord when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Karl-Åke Skarkman, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 100 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Charlie Nord was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
