When Stig-Arne Svanér fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INA FAREEY's protests and gave Stig-Arne Svanér a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for INA FAREEY! A collision led to Smedjebacken BF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Dick Kristiansson hit a great ball. Stig Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Nord having to interfere. Charlie Nord came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by INA FAREEY's Vilgot Rosendal. But to his dismay, Vilgot Rosendal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 24th minute, Stig Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 32 minutes, Vilgot Rosendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INA FAREEY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Rosendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Smedjebacken BF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dick Kristiansson hit a great ball. Smedjebacken BF's Charlie Nord played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Blom in the 34th minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Smedjebacken BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ragnar Helberg to maneuver through the defense. Stig Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Charlie Nord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind INA FAREEY's goalkeeper Torgny Boklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of INA FAREEY booed when Smedjebacken BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Göransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. INA FAREEY's Rickard Dahlberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Smedjebacken BF. Vilgot Rosendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Nord having to interfere. Charlie Nord showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Rosendal in the 71st minute of the match. If Dick Kristiansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Blom struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Charlie Nord didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INA FAREEY. Ingvar Törnkvist in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Torgny Boklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Vilgot Rosendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Charlie Nord tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Smedjebacken BF's Sten Näver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torgny Boklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Torgny Boklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dick Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. INA FAREEY were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Smedjebacken BF to leave the ground with a draw.
