The supporters of Frösön booed when MangeFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Ljungberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernt Ståhlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Dan Qvalfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Bernt Ståhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frösön's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Ståhlberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Qvalfeldt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernt Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dan Qvalfeldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Qvalfeldt having to interfere. Daniel Bagge's late challenge caught a Frösön's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Bagge helped the player get up and apologised. 18 minutes into the game, one of MangeFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernt Ståhlberg in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dan Qvalfeldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, MangeFC's Alfred Asklund got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bernt Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Qvalfeldt having to interfere. Dan Qvalfeldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Ståhlberg in the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Karl-Oskar Sandwall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Bernt Ståhlberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Dan Qvalfeldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernt Ståhlbergs short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Dan Qvalfeldt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 58 minutes, Östen Hamnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MangeFC and the Frösön players grew even worse after the yellow card. 61 minutes into the match, MangeFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Sandberg came free, but Dan Qvalfeldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MangeFC's goalkeeper Dan Qvalfeldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dan Qvalfeldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Sandberg in the 64th minute of play. Kim Lund hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Wilhelm Åström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MangeFC's Dan Qvalfeldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Sandberg in the 69th minute of play. Bernt Ståhlberg struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Dan Qvalfeldt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frösön. After a defensive mix-up in Frösön's zone, Malcolm Ljungberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Helge Dalman came out of the goal and Malcolm Ljungberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernt Ståhlberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Qvalfeldt having to interfere. When Bernt Ståhlberg came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Frösön fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernt Ståhlberg couldn't finish the play. Bernt Sandberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bernt Sandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in MangeFC's zone, Bernt Ståhlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Qvalfeldt came out of the goal and Bernt Ståhlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, one of Frösön:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Frösön. The referee gave MangeFC a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kenneth Haraldsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Frösön's Helge Dalman. 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Frösön had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
